Admission Procedure for Foreign Students

Criteria for Admission of Foreign Students in the Non-government Medical Colleges in Bangladesh.

Government of Bangladesh sets the rules and procedures of admission of foreign students to all public and private medical colleges within its territory. Following are the steps that one may need to take if he/she wants to get admitted into MH Samorita Medical College.

If the candidate has the passport of a country having diplomatic relationship with Bangladesh he/she can apply for admission MBBS(Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery) course in one of the public & private medical colleges in Bangladesh. Attested documents, bank receipt of payment, duly filled admission form are to be submitted to Bangladesh Embassy of his/her country for processing grade equivalency and permission from government of Bangladesh. The candidate should preferably do it by him/her self.

Having received the permission letter of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and grade equivalency of their certificates, BMC office would inform them and proceed with their admission. Valid documents proving the eligibility of the candidate needs to be produced in the university to seek admission in the university.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

  • Any consecutive gap of two years in the academic year will not be accepted.
  • A candidate needs to secure 60% or above in 10+2 with subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • A candidate needs to have a GPA score of 7.0 in SSC, HSC or Equivalent.
  • A candidate needs to have a GPA of 3.5 in Biology.
  • The qualifying marks in NEET are mandatory for candidates willing to practice medicine in hospitals or private clinics in India.
