Asst. Prof. Dr. Zamal Uddin is a committed general surgeon with over a decade of clinical and academic experience in surgical practice. Currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College, he is actively engaged in patient care, surgical procedures, and academic responsibilities.
Dr. Zamal has previously served at Enam Medical College, Dhaka Community Medical College, and Ashiyan Medical College, where he gained extensive experience as Assistant Registrar, Registrar, and Resident Surgeon. His expertise covers a wide range of general and emergency surgeries, with a focus on safe outcomes and evidence-based practice.
He has also contributed to research, including his dissertation “Outcome of Restorative Surgery of Fecal Diversion” (accepted by BCPS) and a study on the assessment of agreement between gated SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging and echocardiography in dilated cardiomyopathy patients.
Recognized for his surgical precision, sound judgment, and structured patient-centered approach, Dr. Zamal continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of surgical services and medical education in Bangladesh.
