Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Asst. Prof. Dr. Golshan Ara Kohinoor is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with strong expertise in women’s reproductive health, pregnancy management and gynecological surgery. She currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College, where she provides both patient care and academic training.
She completed her MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, followed by postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, BSMMU FetoMaternal Unit, and Dhaka Medical College. She has also undertaken specialized training in ultrasound and imaging. Earlier in her career, Dr. Kohinoor worked at Farida Clinic under Prof. T.A. Chowdhury and at Matrika Hospital, gaining extensive clinical exposure.
Dr. Kohinoor provides comprehensive care in reproductive health, pregnancy management and invasive procedures like Cesarean Section (C-section), Hysterectomy (Abdominal & Vaginal), Laparoscopy & D&C.
