Asst. Prof. Dr. Shamima Haider is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 15 years of practice in women’s health and reproductive care. She currently serves as Assistant Professor (CC) in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College.
She completed extensive training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, BIRDEM General Hospital and the Institute of Child and Mother Health (ICMH), where she also received hands-on training in assisted reproductive technology. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Shamima Haider has been practicing as a Senior Consultant at Impulse Hospital since 2019.
Her clinical interests include fetal medicine, infertility management, reproductive health and diagnostic ultrasound in obstetrics. Known for her patient-centered approach and evidence-based care, Dr. Haider is committed to advancing women’s health through both clinical service and medical education.
