Dr. Mohammad Humayun Alamgir is a highly dedicated and skilled emergency medicine professional currently serving as Chief Medical Officer in the Emergency Department at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College. With over 15 years of experience in emergency department, he has built a reputation for his ability to manage critical and life-threatening cases with confidence and precision.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Alamgir has served in several reputed healthcare institutions including BRB Hospital, Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital and Metropolitan Medical Center, where he worked extensively in emergency and trauma care. His expertise covers patient triage, acute resuscitation and emergency medical management.

Beyond hospital practice, Dr. Alamgir has actively participated in humanitarian response operations as a member of the Emergency Medical Response Team (EMRT) of Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital and the Association of Medical Doctors of Asia (AMDA). He has rendered medical aid during national and international disasters such as cyclones, floods and the Nepal earthquake, reflecting his deep commitment to public service.

Dr. Alamgir’s broad medical training includes postgraduate studies in pediatrics, internal medicine, orthopedics and asthma management, complemented by extensive on-ground experience in emergency departments across Bangladesh.
